Brockville Community-Wide Cleanup Set for Tomorrow, With Record Number of Volunteers Participating

Brockville – The 2023 Brockville Community-Wide Cleanup is taking place tomorrow, Saturday, April 22nd from 9:00 am to 12 noon throughout the green spaces and parks in the city.

Happening on Earth Day the annual event will see volunteers cleaning up garbage and debris from the city’s green spaces and parks.

Organizers posted on Facebook that as of Thursday they had 1,170 participants signed up for the Cleanup, a record number this year.

Parks and greenspaces shown below with RED CANS represent parks that are in need of the most help! That means they do not have as many registrations! Please use the colour coding as a guide if you are not sure which park to choose!

Brock Trail – Perth Street
Kelly Ball Park
Central Ave/Hastings
Ormond Street Park
Stewart Boulevard Greenspace
Kensington Park West

Once registered for the Clean-Up, remember to pick up your free clean-up supplies at the Brockville Public Library (23 Buell Street) today from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm.
