Brockville Bunnies Hosting Alumni Day This Saturday at Fulford Park

Brockville – The Brockville Bunnies U19 Baseball Club are hosting their Alumni Day this Saturday, June 3rd at the Jack Giffin Field at Fulford Park.

The day will be hosted by Harper Cotie of Brockville’s Bounce Radio and will kick off at 10:00 am with the Opening Ceremonies, including the singing of Oh Canada and the ceremonial first pitch.

Then Game 1 will start at 10:30 am with Team Richard “Bunnie” Bradfield versus Team Brian McCrobie. The Alumni Day rosters are named after four legendary coaches from the Bunnies organization.

At 12:30 pm, there will be a tribute to Roger “Hodgie” Hodgkinson for his commitment to the baseball program and his efforts in keeping the Bunnies’ legacy alive, as they will ‘cement’ Hodgie’s legacy into Fulford Park forever.

Then, at 1:45 pm, Team Jack Giffin will take on Team Boyd Caldwell.

The BBQ and canteen will be open all day thanks to their Alumni Day sponsor, The Keystorm Pub. All proceeds from the canteen go directly back into the ball club for the purchase of a new batting cage.

To wrap up the Alumni Day, the Keystorm Pub will be hosting the Alumni Evening, beginning at 5:00 pm. All Bunnies players (past and present), families, friends, and fans are welcome to attend.
