Mallorytown – The 3rd annual Front of Yonge Paddle Poker Run is being held on Saturday, September 16th at Brown’s Bay.
The Paddle Poker Run is an event that encourages people to get outside to celebrate and enjoy the St. Lawrence River. All river-appropriate paddle craft are welcome (kayak, canoe, etc.)
This is not a race, but a fun paddle that all ages and abilities can enjoy.
Each paddler will follow a route beginning at Brown’s Bay that includes at least five stops or checkpoints where they will draw a playing card. After the paddle, there will be prizes for the best poker hand. There will be routes set up for beginners and for experienced paddlers ranging from a 5km route from Browns Bay to Chimney Island and back or the 10km route to Mallorytown Landing and back.
Participants must register in advance – single registration is $10 and family entry is $25.00
