Brockville – The 21st annual Brockville Ribfest in support of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Leeds & Grenville begins tomorrow, Thursday, August 10th and runs to Sunday, 13th in Hardy/Centennial Parks in Downtown Brockville.
On Wednesday the many volunteers and ribbers were busy setting up for opening day tomorrow.
The 4-day family festival will feature many things for the kids to do, live music on all four days and lots of food and other vendors on site.
Once again there will be eight ribbers onsite to choose from and try.
The popular Rib Eating Contest is back once again on Friday starting at 6 pm.
The second annual Ribfest Idol which debuted at last year’s Ribfest is back on Saturday, starting at 5 pm.
As Canada’s leading child and youth mentoring charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential, both as individuals and citizens.
The money raised at Brockville Ribfest is a large part of the BBBSLG’s operating budget to be able to facilitate the many programs the agency offers throughout Leeds & Grenville.
Everything begins tomorrow Thursday, August 10th when the gates open at 11:00 am.
