Spencerville – The 168th edition of the Spencerville Fair presented by the Spencerville Agricultural Society is being held this weekend, from September 7th to 10th at the Spencerville Fairgrounds.
Everything gets underway on Thursday with the opening ceremonies being held at 7:00 pm in the Drummond Building.
Over the four days, visitors will see Barn of Learning, Robertson Amusements Ltd & Gable Bros Midway, 4-H Club Shows, Antique Showcase, Poultry Show, Pet Show, Chainsaw Carver, Blacksmith, Spencerville Fair Tasting Experience, Pony & Horse Show, Canadian Raptors Conservancy, Truck Pulls, Farmers Olympics, Little Sir & Little Miss Competition, Spencerville Fair Junior Ambassador and Ambassador Competition, Pancake Breakfast, Rider’s Choice – Equestrian Series, Heavy and Light Horse Show, Marketplace, Craft, Artisans, and much more.
The annual Spencerville Fair Parade takes place starting at 11:00 am with the theme “The Splendor of Fall”.
There will also be Rockwall – Tribeck Inflatables, Baby Show, FireGuy, Kobbler Jay and a demolition derby.
Please Note: the helicopter rides have been cancelled for the weekend.
Live entertainment will include, an Open Mic on Thursday evening, Twin TurbosS and Little Bones on Friday evening, Amanda Keeley on Saturday afternoon with Ty Wilson and Teigen Gayse on Saturday night. Sunday afternoon will feature Colby Drummond, Gail Gavan and George Fox.
Admission to the fair on Thursday is a “Free Will” Monetary Donation to the Food-For-All Food Bank.
