Brockville – The first-ever Battle of the St. Lawrence University Sports basketball games featuring Bishops University Men’s and Women’s teams travelling from Sherbrooke QC to take on the University of Guelph Men’s and Women’s teams in what will be an exciting homecoming weekend for some former Brockville Blazer players.
The games are being held at Brockville Collegiate Institute (BCI).
The women’s game will start at 5 pm and the men’s will follow at 7 pm. These will be exhibition games for the teams as they both look to build on their success last season.
Doors will open at 4 pm and tickets are only available at the door. Tickets are $20 each, cash only.
There will be halftime entertainment, prize giveaways, photo and autograph opportunities with the players and a full day of excitement.
As well, Guelph Women’s Head Coach Meg Reid will host a youth skills clinic at 9 a.m. on Saturday at BCI. All proceeds from the clinic will go towards a local charity.
