Ottawa – The Brockville Braves lost a close game on Saturday in Ottawa, losing 4-3 to the Junior Senators in CCHL action.
The Braves finessed a couple of short-handed goals on the same penalty.
Brockville got on the scoreboard in the second on a short-handed goal by Aidan Carolan. Then about 30 seconds later, Braves’s Kayden Buller would score another shorthanded goal with help from Zach Biniarts.
The Braves would pick up one more in the third by Liam Cardiff, with assists by Watson and Culhane, but it would not be enough to win the game.
Brockville will host the Pembroke Lumber Kings this Friday at the Memorial Centre. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
