Brockville – The 2023 Rotary Harvest Sharing Food Drive in support of the Brockville & Area Food Bank and the South Grenville Food Bank was held this past Friday and Saturday.
The total amount of food that was collected and sorted at the Rotary Brockville sorting station was 12,896.38 pounds of food.
The amount of cash that was donated was a total of $32,956.40.
Over the two days, people could donate at various locations across Brockville and South Grenville. Many volunteers put in a great effort to make this year’s food drive a great success.
On Friday Brockville’s two radio stations held a Food Bank Fill Up event at the Superstore in Brockville from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
