Brockville – Peter Hoogendam, long a pillar of Brockville’s business community, is being remembered as a businessman with a vision and a longtime advocate of the downtown core.
Hoogendam, who owned Reliable Home Furniture and The Mill restaurant, died surrounded by family at Brockville General Hospital on Monday, Oct. 2, at age 75, following a series of health setbacks.
