Carleton Place – The Brockville Braves dropped another close one on Sunday in CCHL losing 5-3 to the Carleton Place Canadians.
Zach Biniaris and Owen Watson each scored one in the first period. Carleton Place dominated the second period picking up 3 goals to take the lead 3-2.
The Canadians would go on to pick up two more goals in the third period. The Braves’ Owen Watson would score his second of the night in the third to add one more for Brockville, but it wasn’t enough.
The Braves host the Navan Grads on Friday night at the Memorial Centre. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
