Help support the campaign to end Gender Based Violence by buying and wearing a purple scarf to support your local women’s shelter!
Brockville – The month of November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month in Ontario.
Help support the campaign to end Gender Based Violence by buying and wearing a purple scarf to support your local women’s shelter, Leeds & Grenville Interval House.
Violence against women is an important social issue that affects individuals, families, and our community as a whole.
Wrap yourself in a hand-felted merino wool scarf with integrated recycled saris during Woman Abuse Prevention Month, and take a stand against Gender-based Violence.
Proceeds raised through the purchase and sale of scarves go directly to the shelter, but more importantly, make an impact in the community as they build awareness, connect with the community, and join gender-based violence organizations across Ontario in calling for change during Women Abuse Prevention Month.
Scarves can be purchased through Leeds & Grenville Interval House (Email melissa@lgih.ca), or at participating stores, to be announced soon!
