Brockville – Brockville Police have cleared the two crime scenes from Friday’s two home invasions in Downtown Brockville.
Police posted on their Facebook page on Sunday evening the following: “Police have cleared from the crime scenes in both the Pine St. and George St areas. These areas are opened back up to the public. Thank you all for your cooperation.”
Police are continuing the investigation as the suspects remain at large. However, they said, “It is important for the public to know that this was a targeted incident and not a random attack.”
The Brockville Police continue to ask the public to check for any video surveillance footage of suspicious activity, involving a small white sedan, on December 1st, around 8:00 pm.
Particularly the area of King St. E. from Bennett St. to Court House Ave.
If anyone does have information they wish to provide, you can contact Det. McArthur at 613-342-0127 Ext: 4218 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8744).
They also said that more information will be released when able as the investigation unfolds.
