Brockville – Some police reports from both the Leeds County and Grenville County OPP from the weekend.
Impaired Driving:
North Grenville – The Grenville OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision on County Rd 44 in North Grenville early on Saturday, December 2nd.
Police say that the 29-year-old driver unbelievably escaped with minor injuries. The Driver was 2 times the legal limit and was charged with impaired driving.

We are looking to speak with them in relation to a theft at a local store in North Grenville that occurred on Sunday, December 3rd at approx. midday.

Impaired Single Motor Vehicle Collision:
Rideau Lakes – Leeds OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision around 10:00 pm Sunday at Golf Club Road and County Road 29 in Rideau Lakes Township.
Police say that a hydro pole was knocked down and power was out to the area. Power was restored around 11:40 pm.
The driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries and is being investigated for impaired.
Impaired Driving/Failing to Stop:
Leeds County – A 34-year-old from Toronto was arrested on November 30th for impaired/failing to stop for police after 911 calls reporting a vehicle swerving
into oncoming traffic on Highway 15.
The driver’s alcohol test results were in the 350 range! Thankfully, this driver is off the road
