Brockville – Despite losing Friday night’s game, 5-4 to the Navan Grads in overtime, the Braves are back on the heels of a last-minute loss to Cornwall Thursday night.
In those 24 hours, the Braves played the top two teams in the CCHL and looked very strong in both games.
The Braves scored one in the first period on a goal by Marcus Mori. In the second Brockville’s Dylan Coyle scored another goal.
In the third period, Navan would score another bringing the score to 4-2 Grads. The Brave’s Aiden Carolan scored at 13:37 in the period to make it 4-3.
Then a last-minute goal by Dylan Coyle tied things up and sent the game into overtime.
The Grad’s Devon Savignac batted his own rebound for the OT winner.
Brockville’s Owen Watson picked up another 2 assists and maintains his spot in the league’s Top Ten in scoring.
The Braves travel to Pembroke tonight to play the Lumber Kings. The puck drops at 7:00 pm at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.
