Brockville – The City of Brockville had one of the two new Para Transit vehicles on display in front of City Hall on Tuesday evening just before the city’s regular council meeting.
Members of the public were invited Tuesday to look at and step into, one of two the Promaster vans purchased for the new city-run service.
The one on display is equipped with a side-deploying lift, that will serve as a vehicle for the transit service for people with disabilities. The second one which will be delivered next week will be similar but have the lift at the back door.
The city-run Para Transit service will begin on January 1st, taking over from the previous contractor.
