Cumberland – The South Grenville Junior Rangers won a 3-2 decision over the Cumberland Castors on Sunday in National Capital Junior Hockey League action in Cumberland.
Scoring the three goals for the Jr. Rangers were Vincent Busseau in the first period at just 1:59 in the period. Then Gabriel Couture with assists from Connor “A” VanLuit and Matt White scored a goal in the second. Hayden Walker in the third scored a goal with assists from Kadin Gazal and Connor “A” VanLuit would break the 2-2 tie and win the game for South Grenville.
The Jr. Rangers travel to Westport to face the Rideaus this Friday night in their last game before Christmas. Game time is 7:30 pm.
