Brockville – The first annual MOVE 104.9 Blood Drive in memory of Brian Fraser is being held on January 29th at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
Join Brockville’s Bounce and MOVE radio stations in memory of Brian who was a huge advocate for blood donations and together we can keep spreading the word.
It is being held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Brockville Memorial Centre. The event will include free skating from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, with food, special guests, and live music.

A Brockville native, Fraser, 26, a technical producer at 580 CFRA in Ottawa died of acute lymphocytic leukemia in February 2021 after a two-year battle with the disease.
Fraser was thrust into the national spotlight when he advocated for blood donation live from his hospital room on CTV News in March 2020. After his call to arms, the Canadian Blood Services website crashed due to high traffic.
