Brockville – Snow associated with a major winter storm is expected to move into portions of eastern Ontario this afternoon. Snow may change to ice pellets or freezing rain this evening.
Possibility of 5 to 15 cm of snow with risk of freezing rain.
Precipitation is expected to change to rain late tonight as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.
Difficult travel conditions will be likely, particularly late this afternoon and tonight.
Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
