Brockville – The City of Brockville is asking residents who use the Rotary Outdoor Rink at Rotary Park in Downtown Brockville to take a few minutes to complete their Rotary Park Rink User Survey to let them know when you currently use the rink, how you use it, and if you have any comments or other feedback for them.
The survey will be open for two weeks and will close on January 31, 2024.

The Rotary Park Outdoor Rink is a free, public skating facility in the downtown area. Changes were made to this year’s daily schedule to accommodate both free skating and shinny hockey in a half-and-half fashion and was implemented to reduce enforcement issues that were popping up with the last year’s schedule. The reduction in enforcement calls allows the city to continue to keep the site free and open to everyone.
The current daily schedule is:
- 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Public Skating (no hockey allowed)
- 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Pick Up Hockey (other users may still use the rink to skate, but should be aware of hockey play on the ice)
The city says that to satisfy the various users, they would like your feedback on the current schedule so that they can see how things are working, and revise the schedule if needed to one that suits the greatest number of users (of both shinny hockey and free skate activities).
