Budget Consultations Held in the Riding Friday

Maitland – As Ontario’s government prepares the 2024 Ontario Budget, community budget consultations were held in our riding on Friday, January 19th.

It was held at the Maitland Education Recreation Center and hosted by Rick Byers, MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance and Steve Clark, MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.

He heard from numerous members of the community including small business owners, elected officials, healthcare representatives, etc. on the key issues that need to be addressed in the next budget.
