Brockville – Family Day is quickly approaching and some City services will be affected by the statutory holiday. Please see below for a list of changes.
Upcoming changes to City Services for the Family Day Holiday on Monday, February 19th:
- City Hall: Closed on Monday
- Gord Watts Municipal Centre: Closed on Monday
- Brockville Transit: No service on Monday
- Garbage and Recycling Pick up: Collection all week moves to the following day
- The Brockville Museum is open on Family Day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (admission by donation). Includes the opening of their new temporary exhibit “Quilting Memories”, and the launch of a new Children’s Discovery Kit
Public Skating:
- Brockville Memorial Centre: Family Day Skate from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm hosted by Tanya Edmunds from Royal Lepage
- Rotary Park Outdoor Rink: site of the Brockville Winter Classic Weekend
- Thursday February 15
- Rink Closed 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm: Winter Classic School Cup, St. Mary versus Thousand Islands Secondary School.
- 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm: Brockville Rifles versus Brockville Police
- Friday February 16
- Rink is open according to the regular schedule from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Saturday February 17
- 9:00 am to 5:00 pm: Hockey Tournament, family activities, barbecue, and more.
- Rink reopens from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Sunday February 18
- Rink is open according to the regular schedule from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Monday February 19
- 9:00 am to 11:00 am: Sledge Hockey Games and Demo
- 11:30 am to 2:00 pm: RBC Family Day Skate
- Rink reopens from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Thursday February 15
