Brockville – Brockville Police and Lanark, Leeds-Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH) are hosting a Night Out in The Cold tonight, Monday, February 12th in support of the Cooperative Care Centre (CCC).
Come and brave the elements of sleeping outside for one evening outside the Brockville Railway Tunnel from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am.
All proceeds will go to the Cooperative Care Centre to continue providing a warm and safe space for individuals who are currently unhoused.
In 2023 the CCC served over 9000 individuals, ranging from 16 to 80 years of age who were unhoused.
If you wish to contribute to this cause and want to challenge yourself, family and friends print off the attached pledge form that can be completed and dropped off at the CCC (1805 Oxford Avenue) by February 9, 2023.
Pledge forms are also available at the CCC if you wish to come and make a donation in person.
