Renfrew – The Athens Aeros won a 2-1 decision over the Renfrew Timberwolves on Saturday in EOJHL action in Renfrew.

The Aeros scored in the first period on a goal by Matthew Worden at 10:27 in the [period with assists going to Wylie Dixon and Jules Facchini.

In the second period, Reid Trueman scored for Athens at 11:08 with assists from Facchini and Noah Cyr. Renfrew would get their first goal of the game from Trent Ladouceur in the period. The Aeros would lead 2-1 at the end of the second.
