Prescott – The South Grenville Rangers won both of the games with the Arnprior Riverman this past Saturday and Monday in Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League action
On Saturday, the Rangers won a 4-1 decision over the Riverman in Arnprior.
South Grenville’s four goals were from Brandon Gilmour (Broydon Stufko, Max Bush) in the first period, Max Bush (Sean Kearns, Marco Haw) in the second period and Jordan Provost and Jared Fenlong (Sean Kearns, Adam Watson) in the third period.
The lone Arnprior goal was scored in the third by Joël Adam (Connor Noonan, Nolan Mcgregor).
Then on Family Day Monday, the South Grenville Rangers blanked Arnprior 7-0 at the Alaine Chartrand Arena in Prescott.
Scoring for the Rangers were, Max Bush (Sean Kearns, Shane Sullivan), Shawn Patterson (Greg Gibson, Jonathan Desbiens) and
David Chevrier (Greg Gibson, Jordan Robertson) in the first period. In the third period, Shane Sullivan (Jonathan Desbiens, Greg Gibson), Broydon Stufko (Nathan Merrett), Shawn Patterson (David Chevrier) and Greg Gibson (Broydon Stufko, David Chevrier) each scored goals for South Grenville.
This Saturday night the Rangers travel to Long Sault to play the South Stormont Mustangs. The puck drops at 6:30 pm.
