City Council Votes to Make Ormond Street South Between Pearl Street & King Street One Way Southbound

Brockville – At this past Tuesday night’s council meeting Brockville City Council voted unanimously to make Ormond Street between Pearl Street and King Street one-way southbound. That would also include making Orchard Street between King Street and Pearl Street one-way northbound.

In addition, council members approved an amendment to the parking bylaw to limit on-street parking on Orchard Street to the west side only and existing on-street parking be modified to limit parking within 9 meters of an intersection.

No word when the changes will take effect.
