Cornwall – The Smiths Falls Bears won a 4-3 decision over the Cornwall Colts on Thursday night in CCHL action in Cornwall.
The Bears got on the board first on a goal by Matthew Dimaline, with assists going to Alec Hamady and Hunter O’Brien in the first period.
Cornwall would score their first goal from Bradley Fraser in the second period. Smiths Falls’ Alec Hamady would score the Bear’s second goal of the night in the second, but Cornwall’s Nicolas Gingras would tie it up 2-2 on his goal at 12:41 in the period.
The Colts would score just one more on a goal from Adam Walker in the third, but two goals by Travis Ouellette would win the game for Smiths Falls.
The Colts were outshot 32 to 20 by the Bears.
Smiths Falls hosts the Navan Grads tonight at the Bear’s Den. Game time is 7:30 pm.
