Carleton Place Wins Game 3, 7-1 Over Smiths Falls in EOJHL Semi-finals Tuesday Night

Carleton Place – The Carleton Place Jr. Canadians won 7-1 over the Smiths Falls Junior Bears on Tuesday night winning game 3 of the EOJHL Richardson Division semi-finals.

The Jr. Canadians lead the series 2-1.

Carleton Place got on the board first with a goal from Jaxon McVie-Stevenson in the first period. Another was scored by Alexander Oster, a short-handed goal in the first and then one goal by Smiths Falls’ Jack Storie. Carleton Place leads 2-1 at the end of the first.

In the second, the Jr. Canadians scored two more on goals by Logan Hay and Ian Kennedy, (Goodwin, Robitaille).

McVie-Stevenson would pick up his second and third goal of the game in the third period for Carleton Place, one on a powerplay, while Logan Hay would pick up his second of the game.

Smiths Falls was outshot by Carleton Place 30 to 18 during the game.
