Johnstown – In the ‘hard to believe’ column, Grenville OPP responded to multiple reports of a wrong-way vehicle on Highway 416 going northbound in the southbound lanes on Sunday night.
Police say they located the driver, with the driver saying, they were lost and knew they were driving the wrong way, but hoped someone would call the police. They did!
The driver was charged with careless driving. Police say they did not appear to be impaired and thankfully, nobody was injured.
