Applications Are Now Open for the Elizabethtown-Kitley Trades Scholarship

New Dublin – You can apply for the 2024 Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley Trades Scholarship now until April 30th, 2024.

The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley Trades Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to residents of Elizabethtown-Kitley who are pursuing a post-secondary education based on a series of eligibility criteria.

New for 2024 the scholarship is now a one-time award of $1,500.00.

Eligibility Criteria:

Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must reside within the Township and be able to provide proof of residency
• Must be attending or have received admittance to attend full-time post-secondary education at a recognized institution within the Province of Ontario
• The program/area of study must be focused on the trades
• An expanded list of the eligible trades can be viewed at www.skilledtradesontario.ca/about-trades/trades-information/.

Must submit a complete application before the established deadline: 11:59:59 p.m. on April 30, 2024.

Awarded funds must be used for post-secondary education pursuits which may include tuition, textbooks, program supplies, specialized training and certification, or other related costs. The scholarship will be given directly to the educational institution whenever possible.
