Brockville – A 31-year-old woman is facing assault charges after two incidents with another woman on Sunday, March 17th.
Brockville Police said that they received a disturbance call at a residence on Perth Street in the city and after an investigation found that there was an altercation that had occurred a short time previously on King Street and involved two females.
By the time police arrived, the two females had left.
Shortly after, the 31-year-old, woman, involved in the original confrontation was at the residence of the second woman, where another dispute took place that escalated and the 31-year-old, woman assaulted the other.
The 31-year-old, woman was placed under arrest for assault and held in custody until sober. Police say she was released on conditions with a future court date.
