Athens – Leeds OPP is investigating the sudden death of a young adult man that occurred in Athens earlier today.
Police say around 8:15 a.m. Saturday morning they responded to an address on Main Street in Athens to investigate the death.
Forensic Identification Services, the Office of the Chief Coroner, the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and Leeds County OPP Crime Unit are part of the investigation.
They say a heavy police presence will remain for several hours to allow for a complete and thorough investigation and to please avoid the area.
