Athens – The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is pleased to announce the hiring of Maple View Landings’ new Director, and Construction Project Administrator.
The new Director of Maple View Landings, Cathy Fisher, will join the team in mid-April. Ms. Fisher brings over 20 years of senior management healthcare experience in various roles and sectors across the continuum of care. Her management experience includes work in both long-term care and the public sector.
Ms. Fisher said “Maple View Lodge and the future Maple View Landings is a very special place and one that I truly want to be a part of. The more I learn about this home and its values, I recognize how well it aligns with who I am as a person. I look forward to joining the Athens community and the great people of Leeds and Grenville.”
The new Construction Project Administrator, Mario Garcia, will oversee construction, fundraising, redevelopment of the existing site, and the integration of the new long-term care home with other Counties’ operations. Mr. Garcia brings more than 30 years of experience as an Architect and Senior Construction Manager and has been part of the management of medium and large builds in Ontario and South America
