Brockville – The Brockville Bunnies are paying it forward on Wednesday, May 15th as thank you for all the support the Bunnies get from the community.
From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15th, the Bunnies are giving up a practice night to hold a clinic for kids 12 and under at Fulford Park.
The clinic will be in honour of Patrick O’Grady who passed away recently leaving behind his wife Erin and kids Addison and Emmett. Patrick was a local teacher/coach and loved the game of baseball as the family is involved with the local Little League program.
The cost for the clinic is whatever you would like to donate as all funds collected will be given to the O’Grady family. You do not need to register just show up at Fulford Park.
“Hoping to have a great turnout as the Bunnies players are hopping with excitement at the chance to work with the kids.” said in a post to their Facebook page.
The clinic is being sponsored by Andy Spooner of AJ’s Water Treatment.
You can also donate or e-transfer donation to bunniesbball@icloud.com and they will add to the total.
“The Bunnies are looking forward to a great night of baseball with the kids in honour of Patrick.” said the post.
