Now Open for the Season: Campgrounds, Beaches, Historic Sites, Golf and Marina
Morrisburg – As of this weekend, the St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) is welcoming guests back to all its properties. With campgrounds, beaches, marina, golf course and historic sites open for business, it promises to be a busy long weekend, followed by another summer of historical, recreational and memorable experiences for people of all ages.
For those looking to get out and get a taste of summer:
Campgrounds and Beaches
- All campgrounds are now open as of Friday, May 17. Reservations for campgrounds must be made online.
- Beach & Day Use Areas, open this weekend 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Daily and Seasonal Passes are available on site.
- Farran Park Campground & Day Use Beach (Ingleside), Glengarry Beach (Lancaster), and Brown’s Bay Beach & Picnic Area (Mallorytown) are open 7 days a week starting Friday, May 17.
- Crysler Park Beach (Morrisburg), Woodlands Beach & Picnic Area (Ingleside) and Mille Roches Beach (Long Sault) open weekends starting Saturday, May 18 and 7 days a week starting Saturday, June 22.
Golf and Boating
- Crysler Park Marina opens on Friday, May 17. To dock a boat (transient or seasonal spaces available), visit the website.
- Upper Canada Golf Course is open now. Tee times can be made online.
Historic Sites
Fort Henry – opens for the season Saturday, May 18 daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4:30 p.m.).
Kingston Pen Tours – currently open Wednesday to Sunday and moves to 7 days per week starting Wednesday, May 29.
Upper Canada Village – Currently open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4:30 p.m.). Upper Canada Village has special entertainment and cake to celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday on Sunday, May 19.
Tickets can be purchased online for all historic sites through our website. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
