Brockville – City Police were investigating a complaint about a breach of bail conditions in the Crocker Crescent area on Thursday, May 16th in the city.
Police say, during the investigation, they located a vehicle near the Hampton Inn with two males inside, identified as a 23-year-old and a 22-year-old.
Officers discovered open alcohol in the vehicle, then the 22-year-old locked the doors to prevent further search. Despite this, officers gained entry and found a quantity of cocaine separated into small packages and a scale. Both males were arrested.
Further investigation revealed that the 23-year-old had recently sold cocaine. The vehicle was towed, and charges were filed against both individuals said police.
The 23-year-old male was charged with:
- Trafficking cocaine
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Failing to comply with probation
- Failing to comply with a release order
He was held for a bail hearing.
The 22-year-old male was charged with:
- Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking
He was released with a future court date.
