Brockville – The Brockville Country Club is hosting the 89th Annual Ontario Senior Men’s Championship from Monday, July 22nd until Thursday, July 25th.
It will see a field of 156 players that will compete on July 23rd and 24th with both morning and afternoon draws being used on both days. There will be a 36-hole cut to the low 60 players and ties following the completion of the second round. Those remaining players will then compete in a morning draw on July 25th.
The overall Senior Men’s champion and 65 and over champion will be awarded after 54 holes.
A practice round will be held on Monday, July 22nd
Hockey Hall of Fame member Larry Robinson is the Honorary Chairman for the championship. Following the practice round, Robinson will be hosting a reception for the players and members of the public that will feature a cocktail party and “Hot Stove” discussion with Larry and several other NHL alumni following the practice round.
Tickets for this event will also be available for the public, including an opportunity to buy packages of multiple tickets.
Tournament volunteers and sponsors will be offered a discount for this event.
Harper Cotie, local Morning Show host for iHeart Radio’s Bounce 103.7, and a founding member of the “Boys in the Booth” hockey podcast, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the Hot Stove League discussions.

All funds raised from the July 22nd Cocktail Party and Host Stove League through ticket sales, along with silent and live auction items, will be donated to the Weekender Program for Kids for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The “Weekender Program for Kids – WP4K” provides a large baggie of food items, on the weekends during the school year, to local kids and teens (JK-grade 12) who live with food insecurity.
