Brockville – The Brockville & District Hospital Foundation’s 4th annual Ride the River in support of the Brockville General Hospital is set for this Sunday, May 26th along the 1000 Islands Parkway.
This year every donation will directly support the purchase of new beds, for the hospital ensuring comfort and care for patients in need. This year’s goal is $500,000.
As well, an anonymous donor has generously agreed to donate $2,000 for every rider registered for this year’s Ride the River.
“This is an incredible opportunity to make an even bigger impact while enjoying a fantastic ride along the river. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a newbie, your participation means more now than ever.” said the Brockville & Area Hospital Foundation
Ride the River was created in memory of Dr. Smylie, commemorating his long-term contributions to healthcare at Brockville General Hospital.
