Thousand Islands National Park Now Open for the Summer Visitor Season

Mallorytown Landing – Thousand Islands National Park is now open for the 2024 summer visitor season. This year, the park will be offering the opportunity to stay overnight, hike beautiful trails and learn about at-risk species living in the park with the new Species At-Risk Diaries guided tours available on the Parks Canada Mobile App.

There are countless opportunities to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of being outdoors in Thousand Islands National Park. This season, reserve your overnight stay in an oTENTik accommodation, paddle over to an island campsite, enjoy boating, docking and mooring amongst the islands, hike the mainland trails at Jones Creek and Landons Bay, and enjoy engaging visitor programs. Hours of operation:

Mallorytown Landing Day Use Area, Washrooms and boat launch:

  • Until October 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Jones Creek Trails:

  • Until October 14

Landons Bay Trails:

  • Until October 14

Please remember that firewood may only be purchased at the park to prevent the spread of invasive species into the area. The Parks Canada team at Thousand Islands National Park is excited to welcome new and returning guests back to experience everything the park has to offer.
