Brockville – The Brockville Police Service is aware of recent suspicious activity reports on the Brock Trail’s north end and the Mac Johnson Conservation Area.
In a media release issued on Thursday afternoon, they say the Police Service would like to remind members of the public to remain vigilant when travelling alone in any remote areas. If possible, ensure you have access to a cell phone, tell someone where you intend to go, and your expected time of return, and consider traveling with others.
Lastly, if you have had a recent encounter with a suspicious person that has not been reported to Police, please contact the Brockville Police Service at 613-342-0127 extension 0 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 222-TIPS (8477).
Police said they have no further information to disclose at this time and will release important information as it becomes available.
