North Grenville – The Grenville County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a male following a sexual assault complaint.
On May 26, 2024, the OPP received a complaint regarding a sexual assault that occurred in North Grenville.
As a result of the investigation, Jesse BRYANTON, 31 years of age, from North Grenville, Ontario, was arrested and charged on May 27, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Sexual assault
- Overcome resistance by administering or attempting to administer a drug – two counts
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – two counts
The accused was held for a bail hearing on May 28, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville, and remains in custody.
