
Brockville – The Brockville Police Service (BPS) teamed up with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) on Friday, May 31st for an inspection blitz of unsafe vehicles.
Police said that inspections were performed on many vehicles regarding various concerns including; frame integrity, exhaust systems, unsafe tires, braking systems, etc.
In total, 14 unsafe vehicles were removed from the roads in conjunction with 13 traffic-related charges being issued.
Police said the event was successful in making the community’s roads safer.
“We look forward to working with the MTO in the future as we continue with our goal of community safety,” said BPS!
