“A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the participants, volunteers, donors, and our dedicated planning committee. Special shoutout to our amazing anonymous donor who pledged to donate $2,000 per registered rider!” said the BDHF in a post on their Facebook page.
This year’s goal was $500,000 and every donation will directly support the purchase of new beds, for the hospital ensuring comfort and care for patients in need.
Ride the River was created in memory of Dr. Smylie, commemorating his long-term contributions to healthcare at Brockville General Hospital.
