Brockville – The Ottawa Safety Council (OSC) that runs the Crossing Guard program in Brockville held a Crossing Guard of the Year appreciation event at J. L. Jordan Catholic School in Brockville on Monday, June 3rd.
OSC recognized Russell Bass as Crossing Guard of the Year in Brockville for 2024.
“Join us in congratulating Russell Bass, Crossing Guard of the Year in Brockville – a well-deserved honour for your dedication to keeping our community safe, one crosswalk at a time!” said OSC
Brockville Mayor Matt Wren was in attendance at the event recognising Russell Bass.
“It was an honour to gather and celebrate the dedication and hard work of crossing guards like Russell, who go above and beyond to keep our communities safe. Here’s to many more years of keeping our streets safe together!” OSC said.
