Montreal – Twenty local athletes were in Montreal the last couple of days competing at the Olympic Trials/U20 Nationals and coming away with some great results.
There were several medals won with multiple athletes reaching the semis or finals and personal bests in rainy and windy conditions.
Travis Gaffney won Bronze in the U20 Men’s 5000m and U20 Men’s 3000m over the weekend while Jacques Mboma, Jonah Hawes, Rayane Link, and Alex Plant placed 4th in the U20 Men’s 4x400m.
William Kizell came in 5th in Men’s Discus while Parker Levac came in 7th in the U20 Men’s 5000m.
