Brockville/Kingston/Cornwall – St. Lawrence College (SLC) is proud to announce that it has won a Gold Medal from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in the category of Alumni Relations Initiatives for its 2023 alumni convocation video.
CASE, an international professional organization with over 90,000 members, represents professionals in Advancement, Marketing, Communications, and Recruitment in education. The CASE Circle of Excellence awards are highly competitive, making this recognition a significant achievement for SLC.
“We are thrilled to showcase our programs and achievements in such an impactful and fun way,” said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. “This award is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our Marketing and Alumni and Development teams, and our creative partner, VIVA Productions in Kingston. It’s incredibly gratifying to see their hard work recognized on an international stage.”
The award-winning video features the “acting” skills of Glenn and his alter ego, “Lenn” with his memorable mullet. Congratulations to the entire team for this recognition, and kudos to Glenn/Lenn for his contribution to the video’s success. To see Lenn’s iconic look, watch the video on YouTube.
In addition to Glenn/Lenn, the video highlighted three members of the SLC global alumni network: Anna Gumieniak, Veterinary Assistant 2012, General Arts and Science 2013; Harsh Trivedi, Supply Chain Management 2022, Project Management 2021; and Darius-Jordan Blundell, Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training 2014.
Last year, SLC also won grand gold and silver awards for its “Welcome to the SLC Alumni Family” video. Click here to read more.
