Brockville – SO LO – Social Local is presenting Beyond the Glass Eastern Ontario Women’s Arts Festival, on July 26th & 27th in Brockville.
Beyond the Glass is a two-day festival celebrating the diverse talents of Eastern Ontario’s women artists, including visual artists, dancers, actors, comedians, and musicians. Held in multiple downtown Brockville venues, the festival features performances, galleries, and exhibitions, headlined by acclaimed artist Amanda Rheaume.
It is taking place at various venues throughout the city including Arts Hub Brockville, Wall St United Church, St. Lawrence Anglican Church, and Engine House Yoga.
Some of the live music will include, Juno-nominated, CFMA, and International Folk Music Spirit of Folk recipient, Amanda Rheaume, award-winning country artist and songwriter, Arlene Quinn, blues legend Jesse Greene Band, rock queens The Petras, bilingual sensation Sophie D’Orleans, and more.
There will be dance performances from Aliyah Dance & Friends, and gravity-defying aerial acts by Mint Pole & Aerial, as well as pop-up galleries showcasing a diverse array of women’s art.
