The President’s Award introduced in 2009 is an optional award that can be handed out at the discretion of the current Chamber President each year. Bruce Wylie is the ninth recipient of this award.
“Bruce has been a part of our community and lives for over half a century. Starting with CFJR in 1971, Bruce has been the voice of Brockville which most of us have grown up with. As the times have changed, Bruce is the one constant that we can all rely on and brings our community together in the best of times and worst.” said the media release.
On Thursday morning the Chamber’s Executive Director Pamela Robertson and Chamber President Steve Latimer surprised Bruce on the radio by announcing he was the recipient of this year’s President’s Award.
