Brockville – You already know that you can borrow books from the Brockville Public Library (BPL), but did you know that they also lend tables, board games and museum passes? Their Experience Collection is full of recreational items that you can borrow for free with your library card, from snowshoes to fishing rods and Ontario Parks day passes.

Museum Passes
Take the whole family to the museum! You can now borrow free family day passes to the national museums in Ottawa (below). A valid library card is required to borrow this pass.

- Newly added: Upper Canada Village Borrow the pass to discover the iconic heritage park. The pass allows a family of 5 people (2 adults and up to 3 young people) access to the park free of charge.
Experience Collection:
This experience collection are special items that the BPL lends out. Check out the BPL passes and experience collections often for new additions!
- Active & Outdoor Games! Take the fun outside! We have added a wide variety of active games perfect for outdoor play.
- Active Games are available for a 7-day loan. Browse the collection and place one on hold for curbside pickup.
- Board Games! Try out new board games from our experience collection! Board Games are available for 7-day loan.
- Fishing Rods, Tackle Boxes & Nets! Fishing rods, tackle boxes and nets are available to sign out for free. Equipment is available for a one-week loan period. Customers are responsible for their own licenses.
- Folding Tables! Folding tables are available for free for your next house event or garage sale. Available for a one-week loan period, limit two (2) per customer.
MAPsacks:
Look for BPL’s bright orange MAPsacks, check one out and go outside! A MAPsack is a backpack containing stories, nature guides, activity sheets, a logbook and a free family pass to enjoy the Rideau Valley Conservation Areas and Parks Ontario family pass. MAPsacks is a joint library project created by the Leeds-Grenville Stewardship Council and Rideau Lakes Public Library as part of the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Healthy Communities Partnership. The MAPsacks are a rotating collection among the Libraries of Leeds & Grenville so watch for new themes all the time!
Snowshoes & Walking Poles (seasonal). The Library has five (5) sets of snowshoes available to borrow.
