It was another busy holiday weekend for the Brockville Police Service. The following are some of the statistics from Friday, June 28 to Monday, July 1, 2024.

Intimate Partner Violence:
On June 29, 2024, at about 1:30 am, police received a call regarding an assault that had taken place in the area of Reynolds Dr.
Investigation revealed that a 32-year-old, female had assaulted her boyfriend by striking him in the head multiple times with her hand.
The male received non-life-threatening injuries and the female subject was arrested. She was charged with assault and held in custody for a bail hearing.
On June 30, 2024, at about 7:00 pm, police received a call regarding an assault that had taken place at a residence on Reynolds Dr.
Investigation revealed that a 58-year-old, male had assaulted his common-law, girlfriend, by striking her with his hand. The female had minor, non-life-threatening, injuries. As a result, the male subject was placed under arrest for assault.
He was later released on conditions and a future court date for that offence.
