Brockville – Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to search for a missing person from the outskirts of Brockville.
Police say on July 10, 2024, shortly after 9:00 a.m., members of the OPP were dispatched to the area of Reynolds Drive and Oxford Avenue after family members of Steven, aged 61, reported him missing from his residence.
The OPP and his family are concerned for his well-being. Residents to the east of Brockville are urged to routinely check additional buildings such as sheds, detached garages, etc. on their property.
OPP said that there continues to be a heavy police presence in the area. Leeds OPP and its marine and crime units are currently being assisted by the Emergency Response Team (ERT), the OPP Canine Unit, the Underwater Search and Rescue Unit (USRU), the Snowmobile, ATV and Vessel Enforcement Unit (SAVE), the Forensic Identification Services Unit (FIS), and the OPP Aviation Services.
